Welcome to the California Capital Airshow! We are excited to have all of you in attendance and hope to make your experience covering the Airshow as enjoyable (and easy) as possible. The organizers of the Airshow have worked very hard to make this year’s event the best one yet, and that includes working closely with both the Sacramento County Airport System and Federal Aviation Administration so that you can have access to the show grounds, performers, pilots, and aircraft. Following is the 2011 California Capitol Airshow press kit which includes events highlights, general information, and performer biographies. If you need additional information or you don’t find what you’re looking for here, please contact prdirector@californiacapitalairshow.com or (916) 876-7568.
Credentials are generally issued to working professional members of the media that have an assignment related to the Aishow. Members of the media who wish to attend the show but who are not on assignment to cover the show will not receive credentials. Freelance photographers not on assignment will not receive credentials.
2011 California Capital Airshow credentialed members of the media receive access to the Media Tent at show center, assistance with obtaining interviews with performers and VIPS, possible fly-along opportunities and more.
Please submit your information using the form below to be contacted by a member of the California Capital Airshow Media Team to be considered for media credentials.
Upon receipt of your application, you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. An additional email will be sent when your credential request is approved. Prior to the show, the primary contact for each approved media outlet will receive additional information regarding parking, grounds, entry, and other information.
(CLOSED) Media registration closes on September 1, 2011.
Note: Media credential requests are NOT accepted at the gate or during the event – no exceptions.
